Beginner setup
Vial sizes vary by vendor. Smaller bottles are usually 3 mL; larger bottles are often 10 mL. Match the label on the vial you actually bought, then use the calculator below if you need to adjust.
Vial strength 10 mg
Bottle format often 3 mL
BAC water 2 mL
Concentration 5.00 mg/mL
Overview
Survodutide is a dual GLP-1/glucagon receptor agonist in clinical trials for obesity and MASH. Like mazdutide, the glucagon arm boosts energy burn; the weekly titration keeps side effects manageable.
Preparation
Reconstitute a 10 mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water (BAC) for a 5 mg/mL concentration. Swirl gently until dissolved and refrigerate after mixing.
| Vial | BAC | Concentration |
|---|---|---|
| 10 mg | 2 mL | 5 mg/mL |
Protocol
| Period | Dose | Units (@ 5 mg/mL) | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weeks 1–2 | 0.6 mg (600 mcg) | 12 units (0.12 mL) | 1x/week |
| Weeks 3–4 | 1.2 mg (1,200 mcg) | 24 units (0.24 mL) | 1x/week |
| Weeks 5–6 | 1.8 mg (1,800 mcg) | 36 units (0.36 mL) | 1x/week |
| Weeks 7–8 | 2.4 mg (2,400 mcg) | 48 units (0.48 mL) | 1x/week |
| Weeks 9–10 | 3.6 mg (3,600 mcg) | 72 units (0.72 mL) | 1x/week |
| Weeks 11–12 | 4.8 mg (4,800 mcg) | 96 units (0.96 mL) | 1x/week |
| Week 13+ | 6.0 mg (6,000 mcg) | 120 units (1.20 mL) | 1x/week |
Cycle
12+ week titration climbing 0.6 mg every 1–2 weeks. All clinical trials used weekly subcutaneous dosing. Protect the mixed vial from light.
