Vial strength 5 mg
Bottle format often 3 mL
BAC water 2.5 mL
Concentration 2.00 mg/mL

Overview

Tesamorelin is a GHRH analog and the only GH peptide with an FDA approval (for HIV-associated belly fat). At the standard 2 mg daily dose it’s the heavy hitter of the GHRH class — and the dose is fixed, not titrated by feel.

Preparation

Recon: 5 mg vial + 2.5 mL BAC (2 mg/mL).

Protocol

PeriodDoseUnits (@ 2 mg/mL)Frequency
Week 11 mg (1,000 mcg)50 units (0.50 mL)1x/day
Weeks 2–12+2 mg (2,000 mcg)100 units (1.00 mL)1x/day

Cycle

8–16 week cycles at 2 mg daily. A one-week 1 mg run-in improves tolerability. Evening dosing coincides with nocturnal GH release.
