Beginner setup
Vial sizes vary by vendor. Smaller bottles are usually 3 mL; larger bottles are often 10 mL. Match the label on the vial you actually bought, then use the calculator below if you need to adjust.
Vial strength 5 mg
Bottle format often 3 mL
BAC water 3 mL
Concentration 1.67 mg/mL
Overview
MGF (mechano-growth factor) is the splice variant of IGF-1 released in exercised muscle. It activates satellite cells for local repair — that’s why it’s injected into or near the trained muscle rather than systemically.
Preparation
Reconstitute a 5 mg vial with 3 mL of bacteriostatic water (BAC) for a ~1.67 mg/mL concentration. Refrigerate after mixing.
| Vial | BAC | Concentration |
|---|---|---|
| 5 mg | 3 mL | 1.67 mg/mL |
Protocol
| Period | Dose | Units (@ 1.67 mg/mL) | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | 100 mcg | 6 units (0.06 mL) | 1x/day |
| Week 2 | 150 mcg | 9 units (0.09 mL) | 1x/day |
| Week 3 | 200 mcg | 12 units (0.12 mL) | 1x/day |
| Week 4 | 250 mcg | 15 units (0.15 mL) | 1x/day |
| Weeks 5–8 | 300 mcg | 18 units (0.18 mL) | 1x/day |
Cycle
4–8 week cycles. Inject into or near the trained muscle immediately after training for the localized effect.
