Vial sizes vary by vendor. Smaller bottles are usually 3 mL; larger bottles are often 10 mL. Match the label on the vial you actually bought, then use the calculator below if you need to adjust.

Vial strength 200 mg
Bottle format often 3 mL
BAC water 2 mL
Concentration 100 mg/mL

Overview

L-Carnitine shuttles fatty acids into mitochondria for oxidation. The injectable form (often called L-Carnitine Tartrate) bypasses the terrible oral bioavailability of plain carnitine — that’s the whole reason to pin it.

Preparation

Reconstitute a 200 mg vial with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water (BAC) for a 100 mg/mL concentration. The concentrated mix keeps doses to a single syringe.

Protocol

Weeks 1–250 mg50 units (0.50 mL)1x/day
Weeks 3–12100 mg100 units (1.00 mL)1x/day

Cycle

8–12 week cycles. Pre-workout or pre-cardio timing pairs it with the training session it’s meant to fuel.
